MacKenzie Beach is one of the closest beaches to the center of Tofino BC.  The beach is great for kids as it's some what protected by some Islands yet is at the mouth that meets the open Pacific Ocean!

Chesterman Beach

Cox Bay Beach

Cox Bay is a very popular beach although not as big as Chesterman, Cox is still very large.  The beach grade is very gentle and sandy which makes for ideal surf conditions, Cox is exposed to the Pacific Ocean!

Long Beach BC, Canada is located in the Pacific Rim National Park, Long beach is approximately located midway between Tofino and Ucluelet.  This beach is shared by both towns and is a great place to learn how to surf, there is lots of parking with multiple lots.  During the summer months Long beach is very busy so if your looking for a wave all to yourself you may want to consider Florencia or Wick beach. The beach is one of the longest and should you walk it south bound you can make it to Wick beach but you better make sure you have good comfortable walking shoes as you will be walking on sand all day!
